I have been a client of Body Performance/Kevin on and off since 2009.
I have tried many types of exercise over the years- weights, boot camp classes, Pilates, running. I have had several different personal trainers at gym’s over the years myself but I have never had specific results like what I got from Kevin’s workouts.
He builds not only your strength and endurance but also your confidence. He makes sure you are safe and teaches you specific techniques so you can also have an effective workout on your own time.
I have utilized the sessions up to a couple of times a week and other times it has been once a month to get a good kick start or to simply refine what i am doing at the gym on my own. I am not a huge cardio fan. I have always favored weight/strength training and Body Performance gives a perfect balance of both.
It’s simply hard work with results!
If your like most and have a super busy schedule then having a scheduled time for a workout that you are accountable for is really the best way to go, or possibly the only way to go. You simply show up and get to work never really knowing what to expect next and that keeps the mind fresh and keeps the body guessing which produces results.
Kevin has pushed me farther than I have ever pushed myself or harder than I ever realized I could go.
WOW! those pull/chin ups…Let me tell you ladies as a woman it’s rather exhilarating to do a dozen chin ups!
When I’m working out at the gym on my own I think of how he will push me to do just a few more reps when I thought I was already pushed to the limit – not so apparently!
I think for the most part we are creatures of habit and can get very comfortable with a certain weight we lift or the same old same old cardio machine, not the case with Kevin.
He will get you stronger I guarantee it because I saw results for myself. The techniques I learned from him are invaluable. I’m still not perfect with those squats but pretty close. A lot closer than before.
When I leave Kevin’s I feel like I just did the hardest workout ever but I also feel so proud of myself and so grateful for what he helped me accomplish.
So coming from a busy wife and mother who wanted to get a little stronger my advice is to at least try it – don’t wait, it is so much easier to care for our households and our kids if we keep ourselves fit. I am not in my 20’s or even my 30’s and no I don’t have a six pack but I know with a little focused effort I can gain strength I didn’t know I had.
It won’t take long before you notice how it helps you in other areas of your daily life and that you can’t put a price on. We can all ride the excuse train forever about why we are not working out – I know I did at times.
I highly recommend taking a Kevin Weiss vacation, that’s right – workout for a month and see what you can really do, there are no quick fixes and no fad contraptions or gimmicks just hard work and results!
The only thing you may loose out on is knowing what your real potential is.
